Today was a cardio day and it went better than I imagined. I not sure if that was because of the pace or what. I survived and that is a praise. I did 30 minutes on the treadmill and then my ab workout. That, on the other hand was not so good...Who knew that you could get a charlie horse in your stomach muscles. Holy Cow! That hurt and for at least a couple hours you can't bend over or the fun starts all over again.
Eating plan went very well today. I think that it helps when the whole family is eating right instead of just one person in the house. It makes shopping and cooking so much easier. Joley and I did do some shopping and we stayed on the perimeter of HEB. That is where all of your fresh food is around the edges. The only middle isle purchase was some whole wheat tortillas. I took the advice of a friend and ordered the Body for Life Cookbook. I can't wait to get it in and really start cooking!
All in all today was a good day! I have my first lower body workout tomorrow and hopefully I will be able to move my arms soon. It hurts just to scratch my nose...Praise God that I have another day to be sore...AMEN!
I give Him all of the glory for this day and for the day that I will finally be half the man that I am now.

Bro Jerry, You crack me up! I love how you explain the charlie horse in your stomach and if you bend over the "fun" starts all over again. Charlie horses are no "fun". I get them in my legs and feet almost everyday. Holy cow is right!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to remember the tip about all the fresh stuff at HEB is on the perimeter...great tip for all of us. You are an inspiration to us all. Romans 14:7a "For none of us lives to himself..."
Perimeter shopping is always the best option! I am proud of you! Keep it up!
